Invitation to Workshop on Draft Strategic Policy Committee Scheme

You are invited to attend a facilitated workshop on Thursday 14th November in The Osprey Hotel, Naas, at 7pm, with a view to making a submission on the Draft Strategic Policy Committee Scheme 2019 – 2024 and forming a Climate Action Linkage Group.

This is an opportunity for the Community/Voluntary, Environmental and Social Inclusion sectors to have an input into how the scheme will operate for the next 5 years.

Programme:

7.00 pm – 7.15 pm Registration

7.15 pm – 7.20 pm Introduction

7.20 pm – 7.40 pm General Linkage Group Discussion

7.40 pm – 8.00 pm Climate Action Linkage Group Formation/Discussion

8.00 pm – 9.00 pm Workshop on Draft SPC Scheme 2019 – 2024 Submission

Kildare PPN currently has 10 representatives elected to the current SPC structure.

The six Strategic Policy Committees proposed cover the following areas of activity:

1. Climate Action
2. Environmental and Water Services
3. Economic Development, Enterprise and Planning
4. Housing
5. Local Community and Culture

6. Transportation, Safety and Emergency Services
