Online Extraordinary General Meeting: Hosting Update for PPN Members

Following on from a letter sent to all member organisations on August 15th 2024, the Secretariat of Kildare Public Participation Network wish to invite you to an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on September 16th.

This EGM will be a one item agenda: Update on the future hosting of Kildare Public Participation
Network.
As you are aware, Kildare Public Participation Network (PPN) brought to your attention an important issue regarding the future hosting of Kildare PPN during our Plenary sessions. We addressed this matter through various means, primarily by conducting an online briefing session, followed by an in- person Plenary in November 2023.
During both the briefing session and the in-person Plenary, the Secretariat presented several options available to us and recommended that the Plenary support the decision to transition Kildare PPN into an independent entity by forming a Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG).
Over the preceding months, the Secretariat has diligently collaborated with all stakeholders to progress the hosting arrangement to the satisfaction of everyone involved, including our funders.
We are now in a position to formally update the membership and look forward to meeting with you on September 16th.
