Rural Ideas Fora – Public Transport and the Opportunities for Rural Ireland
The Department of Rural and Community Development is continuing its series of Rural Ideas Fora. These events will focus on specific themes within Our Rural Future, the national rural development policy published in March 2021, and will be an opportunity to discuss the challenges and opportunities that impact on rural communities and economies. Attendees will learn more about ongoing work relating to key objectives contained in the policy, and hear from a panel of key stakeholders.
The first of these events for 2022 will be held online on 23 August, in collaboration with the Department of Transport, on the theme of ‘Public Transport and the Opportunities for Rural Ireland’
